Morgan Mallory exemplifies the rising musical and spiritual aspirations of a singularly gifted musical soul.
Morgan Mallory is a twenty-year-old native of Chicago, Illinois. She is currently attending the world-renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ma. She is in her junior year of studies and is a recipient of the World Scholarship tour. Pursuing a degree in Music Business. Morgan, a rising Hip Hop/R&B vocalist and songwriter is currently a member of the following ensembles at Berklee: The Neo-Soul Ensemble, The Latin Jazz, Rock, Funk, and R&B Ensemble; The Gospel Ensemble; and The A Capella Ensemble. Morgan has currently performed at Wally’s Jazz Club, Slade’s Club, Can tab Club and Matt Murphy’s Club. In 2007, she performed in Ithaca, New York at Cornell University with Joppa, Tammany Hall in Worchester, Ma, with Entrain; Stowe, Vermont at the Rusty Nail with the Pulse of Boston. She has also performed with Eddie and the Jump-stars in Chicago, Illinois.
Morgan’s many awards include: Tri-M National Music Honor Society-Vice President, Illinois Music Education Association (IMEA) District Jazz Vocalist (Best Vocalist) in 2005 and 2006. In February 2006, she was fortunate to record with the Gibson/Baldwin Grammy Jazz Ensemble at the famous recording studio, Capitol Records in Los Angeles, California. She also performed during the Pre and Post party events for the 48th Annual Grammy Awards. With this prestigious group, she performed with Kirk Whalum, Kevin Whalum, Irma Thomas, Coolio, Oscar Peterson, Hank Jones, Barry Harris, and the Neville Brothers. Some of the ensemble’s performances were done in the presence of Nancy Wilson, Berry Gordy, Quincy Jones and Many other actors and actresses. She has performed at some of the nation’s hottest Jazz venues such as the Victorian (“Vic”) Jazz Club, Henry Ford Music Box Theatre, and Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. Morgan has written and performed her first solo single, “Echoes,” and is currently working on her first album. “Desire is a God-Empowered force: Be fueled by Faith, Geared in Love, and Driven with Inspiration.
