Slang Music Group was selected from amongst A-list top music producers worldwide by Pepsi's Director of Global Marketing to create a new interpretation of the classic song "Wild Thing", originally performed by THE TROGGS. Working closely with Pepsi marketing executives, the songs were to feature vocal performances of pop superstars Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez, recorded in separate (London and LA) sessions. Slang team members created an internationally acceptable re-work that fused multiple styles, creating a perfect backdrop for the star powered humorous “kung fu confrontation”. David Beckham’s performances were ported from the shoot and Slang also contributed additional incidental music and sound design elements.
